Job Title: IT Project Manager

Compensation: $40-50 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW
Lead and manage multiple high-risk, complex projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and consultants to meet project objectives and resolve challenges effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of several concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Coordinate internal and external resources to meet project milestones and resolve issues promptly. Define project goals and maintain oversight throughout the project lifecycle. Organize and allocate resources to achieve targeted outcomes. Provide clear guidance and delegate responsibilities across diverse teams. Identify project risks and opportunities, offering strategic input to stakeholders. Escalate concerns and updates to stakeholders with professionalism and clarity. Maintain consistent communication with team members to manage expectations. Facilitate meetings and presentations across various audiences including: Executive leadership Stakeholders Peer groups Small and large teams Build and nurture strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. Ensure availability and responsiveness to customer needs. Align organizational practices and systems to support project success. Assess project performance and recommend necessary changes. Implement adjustments and communicate changes effectively to all involved parties. Develop and articulate project scope, deliverables, and expectations. Monitor progress and prioritize tasks to stay within budget and resource limits. Identify resource gaps and escalate needs appropriately. Track and report on project status and financials, including monthly forecasts. Follow the IT-defined Project Life Cycle methodology.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Proven experience in resource planning, financial tracking, prioritization, and budgeting. Strong grasp of project management principles and methodologies. Background in leading IT projects and managing external partnerships. Demonstrated success in handling multiple major projects simultaneously. Experience in developing IT processes and educating business units on project delivery. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Skilled in team coordination and stakeholder engagement across departments including: Senior leadership Clients Vendors Internal teams Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills. Capable of preparing and leading formal presentations and meetings. Fluent in English (written and verbal). Valid driver’s license required; travel to other locations may be necessary. PMP certification preferred. Ability to navigate office environments and travel as needed. Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
