IT Project Manager
The IProject Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned projects meet scheduled timelines and budgets, as well as achieving high customer satisfaction with business partners. This individual should have the requisite project management experience to serve as a key leader in the deployment and implementation of key strategic initiatives for the electronic health record (EHR) and the supporting technology and infrastructure. This individual must possess the experience to oversee and deliver standard project management artifacts (project charters, status reports, budgets, project schedules, scope documents, etc.). Moreover, the Project Manager must have the background and experience required to interact directly with strong technical engineers, technical management, application analysts, application vendors, operational business owners, and executive leadership. Primary responsibilities for role include:



Ability to lead projects specific from end to end starting at vendor management to technology/infrastructure setup to application install through end user training and go live support.
Lead collaboration with business customers to define and refine project scope and objectives.
Guide the project team to meet scope, schedule, budget requirements, and overall value realization.
Hold project team members accountable for the schedule and deliverables.
Develop, coordinate, and publish project status reports.
Manage detailed resource planning, budgeting, cost estimating, and cost control.
Track lessons learned and manage best practices.
Ensure compliance with PMO delivery requirements and procedures.
Track, manage, and lead risk management planning, identification, qualitative/quantitative analysis, risk response planning, monitoring, and control.
Maintain an issues log and track progress until resolution, ensuring timely and appropriate escalation of all issues.
Support workstream/project lead with day-to-day project administration tasks.
Support overall program-related activities including coordination of program and project meetings, documentation, and publication of minutes.
Lead and manage projects through their respective life cycles to deliver results. This includes independently taking them from initial conception and scoping through completion while meeting or exceeding the expectations of stakeholders.
Quickly gain forward momentum, establish workstreams, and drive initiative execution with internal staff and external business partners.
Create and maintain documentation including but not limited to schedules, charters, RACIs, communication plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
Ensure that artifacts are stored in sanctioned locations on the network or cloud to be accessible to team members and management, ensuring they are backed up per UHIT standards.
Create and/or deliver presentations to varied audiences, including executive management.
Facilitate team, stakeholder, and executive meetings effectively, scheduling and leading meetings with published agendas and minutes.
Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors and deliver engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations for IT, business, and executive stakeholders as necessary.
Bring forward issues, risks, and escalations by documenting them in the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool and status reports while leveraging appropriate meetings and forums to escalate to management in a timely manner.
Determine and assess resource constraints before and during the project life cycle, making adjustments and recommendations as appropriate to deliver the project within an acceptable and agreed-upon timeline.
