IT Project Lead - M&A Project Coordinator

You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world. **A Day in the Life** As an IT MA&D Project Coordinator in Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MA&D), your primary role is in supporting the respective teams and stakeholders in delivering successful IT application initiatives within a complex and evolving business environment. This role is responsible for coordinating application-related tasks, performing business analysis, evaluating options, tracking project progress, and ensuring consistent communications across stakeholders during the MA&D process. The role plays a key part in supporting the planning and execution of technology-related activities during a merger, acquisition, or divestiture. The focus is on ensuring a smooth application transition and contributing to the realization of benefits such as enhanced system integration, process efficiency, and overall operational effectiveness. Success in this role requires strong coordination and communication across cross-functional teams, including collaboration with project managers, business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and timelines. **Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.** Planning & Execution + Support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT integration activities during M&A or divestiture initiatives. + Develop and maintain comprehensive IT integration plans that align with the overall business integration strategy, addressing technology consolidation, data migration, system compatibility, financial considerations, and workforce integration. IT Due Diligence + Conduct thorough IT due diligence to assess the technology infrastructure, systems, applications, and data of both acquiring and target companies. + Identify potential risks, synergies, costs, and integration challenges. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration + Build effective partnerships with IT senior leaders, Corporate Development, Program Management Leadership, business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners. + Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between IT, business users, and external vendors to ensure effective solution design and delivery. + Coordinate closely with Deal Contracts and Agreements Manager. Program Delivery & Value Realization + Assist in program delivery and value realization, ensuring meaningful and measurable business outcomes. + Support respective teams in coordinating integration activities across enterprise applications including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Workday, Concur, Vendavo, Salesforce (SFDC), Compliance, Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing systems. Project Management Support + Track project progress using tools such as Excel, JIRA, Smartsheet, and MS Project. + Maintain dashboards, progress reports, and project documentation in Confluence or equivalent repositories. + Manage milestones, risks, dependencies, and budgets, providing leadership with timely updates and executive-level communications. Testing & Quality + Support and coordinate test planning and execution, including writing test cases, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and managing defects in JIRA or similar tools. + Help identify and resolve integration challenges related to system compatibility, data flows, and user access. Cutover & Go-Live Support + Assist with planning and logistics for cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support activities, particularly in SAP-integrated environments. + Collaborate with training and change management teams to support end-user readiness across platforms like Workday, Veeva, and ServiceNow. Business Analysis & Communication + Gather and document requirements for application-related changes and integrations. + Prepare communication materials and executive updates summarizing project status, risks, milestones, and key decisions. **Required Knowledge and Experience:** + 3+ years of progressive experience in project coordination, business analysis, or application-related roles with a Bachelors Degree in engineering or MCA or MSc. + 3+ years of project and program management experience. + Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills. + Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Excel, Planisware, JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet). + Ability to understand the customer's business problem, need, or opportunity and to design a solution that completely and correctly addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity without unnecessary enhancements. + Proven ability to work as a team player, delivering quality results within defined timelines. + Understanding of application lifecycle processes and system integration concepts. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. **Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  **Benefits & Compensation** **Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package** A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
