Job Summary and Responsibilities

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of workflows, implementation timelines, in depth PM philosophy and skills/experience. The Portfolio Manager is accountable for the project objectives and is responsible for managing resource allocation, influencing sponsors and prioritizing work. This position plays an active role in making decisions involving processes and structures to support enterprise wide change.  The Portfolio Manager must have the ability to manage business sponsor relationships and navigate the political landscape. They will oversee medium or large projects and, at times, be assigned to multiple projects.

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree, equivalent work experience may be considered5+ years of project management experienceProject Management Professional certification is strongly preferredLeadership experience managing cross functional teamsPrevious experience in Healthcare ITSignificant experience using and optimizing Project Management tools i.e. Planview, MS Project, ServiceNow
