Role: Cybersecurity governance

Work location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Key responsibilities Defining and executing a strategic cybersecurity roadmap aligned with business goals Identifying critical assets and data, assessing their vulnerability to cyber threats Establishing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures Performing regular risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential cyber threats Implementing risk mitigation strategies and tracking remediation progress Ensuring adherence to relevant cybersecurity regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) Establishing a cybersecurity governance structure, including committees and roles Overseeing the implementation and effectiveness of security controls Facilitating communication between IT security teams and business units Leading incident response activities in case of cyber breaches Developing and maintaining incident response plans and procedures Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities Expertise in risk management methodologies Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) Position details
