About the Role:
\nThe IT Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the day-to-day performance of IT systems and services. This role ensures stability, availability, and security of applications, servers, networks, and infrastructure to support business operations. The analyst also investigates issues, coordinates with internal teams and vendors, and contributes to process improvements and automation initiatives.
\nResponsibilities:
\n\n Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity across applications, servers, and networks.\n Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, escalating as necessary to specialized support teams.\n Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.\n Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and configuration records.\n Support patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities with minimal downtime.\n Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.\n Collaborate with business units and IT teams to define requirements and implement solutions.\n Assist in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.\n Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.\n Provide end-user support for escalated technical issues when required.\n\nBasic Qualifications for Consideration:
\n\n\n Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n 2–5 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or technical support.\n Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux), databases, and networking fundamentals.\n Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar).\n Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.\n Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.\n Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n Excellent communication and documentation abilities.\n\n\n \n\n
Preferred Skills
\n\n Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).\n Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).\n Exposure to enterprise applications, ERP systems, or middleware.\n Understanding of cybersecurity practices and incident response.\n\n\n

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $54,901 - $71,300
