This role is essential to the successful setup and deployment of new instruments for BLS global studies across all BLS sites. Strategically based out of our Indianapolis lab, the position focuses on initial instrument configuration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure systems are fully vetted before being distributed to global locations. By resolving issues locally, this role reduces setup errors, minimizes delays, and ensures that Deskside staff worldwide receive ready-to-deploy configurations. This proactive approach directly supports timely study launches and revenue generation. The IT Operations Analyst I will execute instrument configurations, manage internal lab IT projects, and support the Application Service Request (ASR) process. The role also maintains system documentation, contributes to IT security processes, and serves as a key liaison between lab management and IT teams across BLS sites. The position reports to the **Senior Manager, IT Operations** . **Duties and Responsibilities** + Perform prioritized instrument configuration and hands-on troubleshooting for lab IT systems. + Coordinate and manage ASR and defect releases for multiple applications across various portfolios. + Manage all aspects of the end-to-end release process for system changes, including projects, ASRs, and incident-related patches. + Partner with program and project management teams to ensure successful release deployments. + Collaborate with stakeholders across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to continuously improve development and migration processes. + Manage the IT Release Calendar and align release activities with other IT initiatives. + Provide IT management with a centralized view of release processes and serve as the subject matter expert for release management. + Support department projects to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved. **Minimum Education and Experience** + Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + Current Labcorp lab professional or IT professional preferred. + ASCP BOC Certification. + Experience working as a laboratory technician. + CAPM or PMP certification. + Windows or Network certifications. **Skills and Competencies** + Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. + Knowledge of IT systems and/or laboratory practices. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Self-starter with the ability to balance and manage multiple work streams. **Working Conditions** + Position is based onsite at the Indianapolis lab, with flexibility for hybrid work. + Up to 10% travel required. **Benefits:** Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
