Description

We are seeking a IT Onsite Engineer professional to manage the IT ticket queue, oversee local IT compliance (e.g., Anti-Virus, MS patching, SOX, ISO, PCI), and provide technical support across the site. This role involves managing IT issues onsite, supporting IT projects, and ensuring high levels of customer service while adhering to corporate IT policies. You will also provide 2nd/3rd line technical support and work on asset management and system maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage IT ticket queue and compliance tasks for the site.Act as the local IT representative, ensuring adherence to corporate standards.Support IT projects and assist colleagues across EMEA.Provide technical support for Foundever and client systems.Monitor IT incidents, identify trends, and improve service delivery.Ensure health and safety compliance for the IT team.Participate in site reviews and work with business stakeholders to prioritize IT needs.Provide 24/7 cover and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English and native language.Experience working in a process-driven IT environment, with knowledge of ITIL.Familiarity with SOX, ISO, PCI standards is a plus.Proven 2nd level IT support skills and experience in a call center environment.

Role Suitability:

This role is ideal for someone with extensive technical support experience, particularly in an onsite engineer or similar role. Knowledge of the call center and BPO industry is highly beneficial. The position also requires administrative tasks, including process documentation, reporting, and maintaining high standards of documentation and technical writing.

 

Key Experience and Skills:

Proven technical support and onsite engineer experience.Familiarity with the call center and BPO industry.Strong administrative, reporting, and technical writing skills.Experience working to ITIL principles (Foundation level preferred, ITIL v3 or v2 beneficial).Knowledge of maintaining IT operations in a compliant, auditable state and aligning with corporate security policies.
