Job Description

The IT Manufacturing Applications Team Leader, leads the transition, implementation, development, operation, and continuous improvement of IT manufacturing applications within the silicon carbide semiconductor production operations at the Roseville plant. This role ensures the seamless integration of IT manufacturing applications with manufacturing tools, automation solutions, the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), SAP, and other platforms. The objective is to enable digitalized process control and data-driven decision-making that support world-class production efficiency, traceability, quality, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

Technically act as Team Leader for CIM & IT applications admin and application owners, approximate 4 to 6 IT Professionals.Responsible for manufacturing applications, dashboards, reporting, and data warehouse.Operate, maintain and upgrade the current IT manufacturing applications landscape and architecture in alignment with Bosch SO global IT strategy and specific Roseville semiconductor manufacturing goals.Provides support and maintenance, in collaboration with software suppliers, for complex and highly specialized applications such as statistical process control systems.Tests and debugs complex applications, requiring in-depth knowledge of specific interactive environments, to ensure optimal system performance for applications such as Elkom, XMan, SPC, FDC, and others.Collects operations and production planning requirements and translates them into configurations that enable process control and digitalization.Be responsible for the applications, maintenance, upgrade, patching and configurations according to operations and business needs.Works collaboratively with the international system administrator network and directly with local operations and cross-functional departments for successful outcomes.

 

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.5-8 years of experience in systems administration in programming, microcomputers or PCs.Knowledge on Low-code / No-code platforms.Strong knowledge of Manufacturing process.Good IT troubleshooting skills.Must have the ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Additional InformationThis role will work on site in Roseville, CA.This position works Monday-Friday, additional hours as necessaryIndefinite US work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-130,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
