Role OverviewThe IT Technology Manager will lead the delivery and execution of enterprise application–driven digital transformation programs for India factory operations. The role is focused on implementing and scaling core manufacturing applications—such as ERP, MES, PLM, and CPQ—that enable Industry 4.0 capabilities including digital thread, process standardization, and data-driven operations.
This role partners closely with Engineering, Digital Technology, and Operations teams to ensure solutions are delivered effectively, adopted by users, and aligned with global frameworks, standards, and transformation objectives. The manager’s primary accountability is India execution; international exposure is valued but not required.
On a Typical Day You WillOversee and deliver a multi-year roadmap of enterprise application programs for India factories, spanning requirements definition, design, configuration, deployment, stabilization, and ongoing optimization.
Lead delivery of manufacturing applications such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), and configuration/CPQ solutions that enable Industry 4.0 and digital thread initiatives.
Partner with India manufacturing operations and Global Digital Technology teams to prioritize initiatives, resolve execution issues, and ensure outcomes align with both local business needs and global standards.
Coordinate and manage multiple workstreams, including internal teams, system integrators, and vendors; identify and resolve blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
Support change management activities including user training, communications, and adoption planning to ensure enterprise applications are successfully embedded into factory operations.
Maintain accurate project and program documentation, track milestones, manage dependencies, and provide regular status and risk updates to stakeholders.
Work hands-on with business technology and operational technology teams to ensure enterprise applications integrate effectively with shop-floor systems and deliver measurable operational impact.
Ensure delivered solutions meet quality, compliance, and cost expectations, and contribute to productivity, standardization, and data integrity across factories.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of experience in IT/OT operations or program/project delivery roles, with at least 3–5 years supporting manufacturing or factory environments.
Strong experience delivering enterprise application programs in manufacturing contexts, including ERP, MES, PLM, and/or CPQ systems.
Experience working with modern digital technologies that support Industry 4.0 initiatives; exposure to cloud deployments, system integration, or data migration is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to execute programs end-to-end, manage stakeholders, and drive user adoption in operational environments.
High emotional intelligence with strong collaboration and communication skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
Ability to simplify complexity, navigate ambiguity, and focus execution on the highest-value priorities.
Self-directed, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Proven ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and translate them into practical technology solutions.
Preferred QualificationsExperience collaborating across engineering, digital technology, and manufacturing operations in multi-site environments.
Demonstrated contribution to enterprise application–led process harmonization, change management, or digital transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts such as digital factory, Industrial IoT, or advanced analytics, as enabled through enterprise systems.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ERP, PLM, Agile/Scrum, cloud platforms) or participation in professional development programs.
Experience working with large manufacturing organizations or complex enterprise environments.
Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into executable delivery plans.
Track record of initiative and ownership in driving execution, resolving issues, and delivering results.
