ROLE AND DEPARTMENT

We are looking for a hands-on IT Manager to join our Global IT team based in our commercial office in Warsaw, Poland.

This manager role leads the local IT team in Warsaw and Bielsko-Biala working hand in hand with Global IT services and local management and leadership.

Reporting to the IT Director, you will be part of a truly global team, focused on providing excellent customer service and supporting the IT users within Coty and the key IT systems integral to the business. 

 

 

 

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the local Enterprise Client Services (ECS) team in alignment with global standards and process and the business objectives of the organization.

You will:

Provide operational planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and executing day to day support activities. Attend meetings with the business in order to discuss issues and requests and provide guidance and direction to the local leadership in IT related areas and topics. Be the point of contact for the business for IT and to provide guidance on IT governance and processes, and to liaise with other areas within IT on behalf of the business. Be the gate keeper for any IT changes that are planned for the site(s) to ensure they are correctly approved and do not have negative impact on current applications, infrastructure, or other systems. Analyze, report on, and make suggestions for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure, IT systems and platforms. Work with the IT colleagues to develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives. Ensure the implementation of and compliance with all IT policies and procedures, including those for security, standards, purchasing, and service provision. Manage relationships with 3rd parties and vendors. Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and support of all IT systems, including servers, laptops and PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals. Hands-on provision of end-user services, including service desk and technical support services. Work with the IT Leadership and stakeholders to define business, and systems requirements for new technology implementations. Work with assistants and VIPs to ensure planning and support of critical meetings and events. Works with incident managers and participates in follow the sun incident resolution if needed. Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions. Practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment. Work with Global IT Pillars to assist with the management of telecommunications (fixed and mobile) and audiovisual (AV) systems, and network technologies. Work with Global IT Pillars to carry out daily administration and troubleshooting for computer equipment, servers, LAN/WAN and provide hands-on troubleshooting support as required. Support the ECS Leadership as needed and contribute to specific projects, strategic planning and implementation. Manage a list of systems, applications and owners for all items in the location(s).

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’d love to see candidates who have:

A strong hands-on technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, specifically around Windows operating systems. A passionate drive for excellent customer service and delivery. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and able to adapt to a fast-changing and challenging environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills in the local language and English, with the ability to communicate technical information in a business and user-friendly language. Knowledge of collaboration platforms and meeting room and video conference systems. The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, and ensure standards and processes are followed during execution. Knowledge of ITSM processes, ITIL and ticket handling, and the tools used in this area. Good understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Strong team management experience, including workload management, task prioritization and coaching on processes and standards. Knowledge of general IT technologies such as cabling, networking, servers, cloud storage, virtualization, and backups. Ability to perform general mathematical calculations for the purpose of creating business cases and to manage and review budgets.
