About the role

This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work three days per week at the Support Center in Legacy West, Plano, TX.This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance are not provided.Availability is required from June 1 through August 7, 2026, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week.

Essential Function

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer intern to join our IT Integration team.The intern will support our team in creating business cases, flow diagrams, reporting and other activities as assigned. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the success of critical IT Integration initiatives. 

Primary Duties 

Writes new code or modifies existing code to meet requirements of company business applications.Tests or debugs his/her work to ensure that the functional requirements are met and that completed work is of high quality. Follows company development standards specific to the team.Will be involved in various Integration Implementation. Working cross-functional with different departments and communicating Information effectively Responsible for unit testing their codes, involved in code review process and documenting their development work. Individuals should be able to collaborate with the team and proactively work with the Dev Lead and Architect to identify areas for optimization.Exposure to a broad range of current technologies & Integration concepts and technologiesUse the process and system knowledge to build API. 

owledge, Skill Sets and Abilities 

Pursuing a major in Computer science or related engineering fields Exposure to Integration technologies and platforms is a major plus.

Good exposure to cloud and scripting technologies - Azure, AWS, Python, JavaScript, Nodejs etc. 

Good knowledge in server-side programming languages like java, C# etc.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements 

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. 

Location: Hybrid | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday at the Sally Beauty Support Center, Legacy West (Plano, TX); Remote Thursday or Friday

The typical working environment is in the support center office, and the work is sedentary. Typically, the associate may sit comfortably to do the job. However, some tasks and activities may be walking, standing, bending, carrying light items such as papers, files, books, and small parts, driving an automobile to a store location, etc. These activities are not frequent and do not require significant physical demands to perform the work.

While involving everyday risks or discomforts, the work environment is designed with standard safety precautions. These precautions, typical of offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, residences, or commercial vehicles, include using safe work practices with office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations and traffic signals,
