Roles & Objectives

As an Intern you will be part of our IT Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A./Philip Morris Italia and will be reporting to one of our IT Engineering Managers. The position will be based in Bologna. 

In your role, you will be joining TPE M&L Engineering team, supporting global teams on acquiring, installing, configuring, hardening and supporting Industrial IOTs in our manufacturing sites. 

 

Specific Responsibilities:

Support teams demanding IIOTs in our manufacturing facilities;

Support our supplier teams to  procure quickly and reliably all over the world IIOTs;

Make sure time and quality in delivery is respected;

Help local teams to receive, install anc configure IIOTs;

Help global teams to sustain audits, check updates and demonstrate security of our infrastructure.

 

 

Who we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate should have:

Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent;Fluent in using Office 365 suite, Atlassian Confluence and Jira;Knowledgeable about LAN setups (VLANs, segregation, physical connectivity);Ability to work alone, in team and to engage with multi-functional stakeholders;

You like to organize things and propose ideas on how you would like to fix it;

You must be able to learn quickly new situations, by yourself, by being coached or by proper trainings;

Fluency in English is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
