Roles & Objectives
As an Intern you will be part of our IT Operations and R&D Platform in the IT Engineering Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to the IT Project Manager Industrialization. The position will be based in Bologna.

In this role you will collaborate with central IT teams (IT Corporate, IT Ops, IT Infrastructure, Engineering Solutions and manufacturing affiliates (both business & IT) to identify, assess and prioritize system application portfolio to deploy globally and locally.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

Analyze and document existing operating models, workflows, and system dependencies;Work closely with IT and business teams to map process interactions and identify optimization opportunities;Support impact assessments of new industrialization initiatives on existing IT & Digital systems;Assist in the development of clear, structured documentation for process impacts and system integrations;Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

 

Who we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate should have:

Degree in IT, Business Process Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field;Curious and analytical mindset with a strong interest in understanding how systems and processes work;Good communication skills to document and explain complex processes clearly;Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and business stakeholders;Basic understanding of IT systems, databases, and process mapping is a plus;Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, or similar tools) for documentation and analysis;Fluency in English is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
