We are looking for experienced IT Equipment Installer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. This is a fast paced, challenging, and rewarding experience in which you are able to provide solutions on one of the most complex and high profile programs within this community. \#LI-EE1 **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** We are looking for an IT Equipment Installer to join the Physical Installation Team (PIT) to provide on-site support services that typically include installing, relocations and decommissions of IT equipment (servers, switches, routers, racks, etc..); cable installations, cable decommissions, replacing failed components and managing cable inventory. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining a standardized cabling and labeling system, coordinating with various project managers on implementation schedules and providing remote hands support. Specific duties include the following. + Perform hardware installations/decommissions and label hardware devices in accordance with Data Center procedures + Install/remove hardware blanking panels accordingly to optimize the Data Center s cooling efficiency + Properly label, comb and bundle network cabling in accordance with Data Center procedures + Actively manage network cable inventory (order shortages) + Perform network cable installations (routing, terminating, structured cabling) of single and multi-mode fiber, Cat5e, Cat6, etc. to include troubleshooting and testing + Perform remote hands support (e.g., power cycles, physical equipment and cabling inspections, swap out failed components, mount/dismount media, and testing of copper and fiber strands) + Support Service Management and related processes (e.g. Service Request, Incident, Change Request) by creating, updating, approving and closing associated assigned tickets Required skills: + Basic knowledge of IT network systems, topology and troubleshooting + Knowledge of network cable connection types within a Data Center environment (i.e., CAT5e, CAT6, LC-LC Fiber, SC-SC Fiber, etc.) + Experience installing, modifying, terminating, testing and troubleshooting network cabling + Experience racking IT devices and cabling network equipment in Data Center racks + Ability to handle tickets for local support and implementation purposes and perform tasks as detailed + Bachelors Degree in related field + 3 years of relevant experience **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + CNET Training Data Center Fundamentals + IDCA Training Data Center Infrastructure Expert (DCIE) + CNET Training Data Center Technician Professional (DCTP) **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
