Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cloud database provisioning, configuration, administration, cloning, patching, and upgrade activities.
- Perform proactive space and growth management for databases in cloud infrastructure.
- Respond and resolve database related requests and incidents.
- Adhere to organization’s security policies while performing database administration tasks, respond to database and cloud security alerts, and support audit requests.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of cloud database systems including participating in failover testing and disaster recovery planning.
- Manage database backups, resolve backup issues, and perform recovery activities.
- Configure monitoring and take timely action on alerts for cloud databases.
- Provide on-call support per the roster developed by management.
- Participate in database change management and DevOps lifecycle management.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
