Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Engineer to join our Smartfactory Operations team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of implementing and maintaining cutting-edge smart manufacturing technologies, driving our digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure operations for all Smartfactory solutions such as the Manufacturing Execution Systems (SAP DM), Manufacturing Service Bus (MSB), IoT Edge Technology, Maschine Data Acquisition and Recipe Management SystemOffer 2nd level support of business solutions in the area of Manufacturing IT ApplicationsSupport/consult the central key user and the local key users in the plants for all Smartfactory solutionsDrive active system monitoringCoordinate system upgrades and patchesSupport the digital transformation of the business with digitalization solutionsSupport the regional rollout of the Smartfactory solutionsOvertake the responsibility to coordinate all infrastructure and other issue related activitiesImplement and refine IT best practices in the relevant areas: project management, portfolio management, service managementFoster collaboration and cooperation with other teams and competence centersSupport to steer and control external providers to ensure optimal world-wide service provisioningQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of experience in IT engineering or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0 conceptsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressureKnowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) SAP-DM will be a strong plus Knowledge in ITSM such as incident, change and problem management - ITIL certificate desirableBusiness-fluent English language skills written and spokenExcellent communication skills and structured work styleEmbracing teamwork by supporting each otherOpenness to international business trips (10-20%)Additional InformationAt Continental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
