Job Title: IT Change Management Automation Engineer Location: Remote Pay Rate: Open to Both 1099 and W2 options Position Type: Multiyear Contract This is a long term, remote contracting position for candidates who live in the US and have been working in the US for a minimum of 5 years (not with US companies, but actually working in the US). Candidates must have at least 8-10 years of IT experience that includes at least 3 years of experience working in an enterprise IT organization, very strong scripting skills, experience with IT automation platforms/system integrations, and some banking/financial services industry experience. Description: Seeking a technically skilled and automation-driven IT Change Management Automation Engineer to help us transform change management practices through intelligent automation and seamless tool integrations. Key Responsibilities: • Consult with IT engineering teams to ensure high quality automation integrations with IT Change Management practices. • Develop scripts and playbooks to automate infrastructure changes and deployments triggered by approved change requests. • Ensure automated deployments are compliant with change policies and auditable through ServiceNow. Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in an enterprise IT organization. • Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, JavaScript). • Experience with IT automation platforms and system integrations. • Understanding of IT Service Management practices. Preferred Skills • ServiceNow System Administrator or Implementation Specialist certification. • Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible or Azure DevOps. • Proficiency in Ansible for infrastructure automation or Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration. • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Change Management module. • Experience with REST APIs and webhooks for tool integrations. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and infrastructure-as-code concepts. • Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
