IT Engineer (Android and/or Apple Tablets)

On-site role enabling GE Digital APM inspection rounds through device readiness, field troubleshooting, user training, and compliance reporting.

Requirements

Experience supporting GE Digital APM (Meridium) or comparable asset performance systems.

On-site field support background in industrial, MSHA/OSHA-regulated environments.

Mobile device management for Android and iOS, including OS and bootloader familiarity.

Hardware, network, and application first-level troubleshooting capability.

Ability to travel between sites; ~45 hours/week availability with backup coverage.

Experience coordinating with IS&T for identity, access, and device pairing workflows.

Preferred Skills

Windows Authenticator and account pairing for Android/Apple devices.

Asset tracking/inventory control for mobile fleets.

GE Digital/Meridium APM inspection rounds knowledge; TRACK application familiarity.

Reporting and KPI development for OTD/compliance; weekly and monthly roll-ups.

Training development and delivery for field inspectors and craftspeople.

Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, maintain, and reset Android/Apple tablets; resolve login, PIN, connectivity, and reset issues.

Pair user accounts to devices via Windows Authenticator in coordination with IS&T.

Provide first-level triage for hardware, network, and application incidents; minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate device asset register and lifecycle status.

Deliver training for TRACK and APM users; coach field teams to improve adoption and compliance.

Serve as on-site contact for inspection issues and escalations; attend daily/weekly lineout meetings.

Travel to sites as scheduled or on request to support crews and facilitate inspection completion.

Monitor and track inspection-round completion in APM; issue weekly site compliance reports.

Identify gaps impeding timely inspections; execute corrective support actions, including scheduled site visits.

Produce monthly reporting package: device deployment/maintenance summary, training logs, inspection completion rates, issue list with resolution status.

Participate in monthly stakeholder reviews; maintain records of crew engagement activities.

Deliverables

Fully supported and operational fleet of Android and Apple tablets.

Documented training sessions with attendance logs.

Weekly inspection compliance by site; monthly inspection completion reports.

Monthly progress reports and participation in stakeholder meetings.

Recorded attendance at lineouts/site meetings and summary of engagement activities.



Pay Details: $60.00 to $75.00 per hour
