Working hours: Monday to Friday - regular hours

Job location: On site, south shore (occasional work in remote)

Salary: $110,000 to $140,000 (depending on experience)

Position type: Executive - permanent contract

Our client is a company specializing in the design and manufacture of building materials. They are looking for a new IT Manager to structure IT operations within the organization.

Your role:

Supervise, structure, coordinate and evaluate operations related to computer services and digital information processing within the organization. Define and apply guidelines, protocols and strategies associated with digital data management, computerized system design and operation. Manage and direct teams of IT professionals responsible for developing, deploying, operating and maintaining software, telecommunications infrastructures, computer networks and integrated systems. Interact with customers to identify their needs, discuss technical specifications, delivery times, budget and proposed technological solutions. Manage budgets allocated to IT projects and departments, while ensuring rigorous monitoring of expenses incurred. Ensure the recruitment, coaching and professional development of IT team members, including technicians, developers and external service providers, and oversee their ongoing training.

Skills and qualifications :

Minimum 3 years' experience as an IT manager in a manufacturing environment, including supervision of technical teams. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions. Advanced skills in budget management, resource planning and performance monitoring. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Mastery of network infrastructures, operating systems, cybersecurity, cloud and hybrid environments.
