Job Description

The IT Development Lead drives the delivery activities of the DCC@DC Solution (Product Information Management, Media Asset Management and Data Logistics) across the lifecycle, takes part in Solution-related development projects and oversees changes in integrated products and components. DCC stands for Digital Content Chain including mainly PIM and MAM.

Takes over responsibility and coordinates all technical developments of the DCC@DC Solution under consideration of software development guidelinesAssesses customer requirements from a technical perspective with respective effort estimationsAssists in the design and development of proof of concept and prototypesCollaborates with Solution and IT Architects on the delivery of DCC@DC Solution functionalitiesSupports cross-communication with different internal teamsSteering of internal and external developersParticipates in tier 3 IT Solution support activities including incident management and the assessment and delivery of application upgrades and patchesDocuments specifications and supports the creation of operational support manuals during the technical implementationTakes over responsibility for interface / middleware implementation and documentationParticipates in risk analysis assessments and analyzes impact of implemented IT changesBalances between standardization and customer orientation as well as development speed and time-to-marketTakes charge of deployments, organizes and coordinates Solution releases.Adapts testing methodology (market standards)

Qualifications

Required Knowledge:

Experienced in effectively collaborating and communicating (English required)Working knowledge in respective development environment and technology (JavaScript, XML/XSD/XSL, REST)Basic knowledge of cloud technologyBasic knowledge of middleware technology (Talend)Working knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and techniques/ability to interpret quality indicatorsCapable of documenting and interpreting functional and technical specificationsExperienced in leading a team (preferred)Working knowledge in Agile methodologyKnows the required templates, processes and regulations from the Solution excellence
