**Job Description**
MDS S4 Hana/O9 Deploy Lead oversees and guides the technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves leading technical teams, managing project plans, facilitating communication, and mitigating risks. They also play a crucial role in translating business requirements into technical solutions and ensuring alignment with overall project goals. It plays a crucial role that bridges the gap between technical teams and business objectives, ensuring the successful delivery of technical projects while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
1. Job Overview:
+ Purpose: To lead and manage the successful deployment of SAP S/4HANA solutions within Mondelez Mexico. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all activities related to S/4HANA implementation at BU level, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimizing disruption to operations.
+ Scope: The Deployment Lead is responsible for the end-to-end BU deployment lifecycle, including (but not limited to):
+ Mexico Project Planning and preparation
+ Testing support (unit, integration, user acceptance)
+ Assist hypercare support
+ Reports To: MDS Mexico BU Lead
2. Key Responsibilities:
+ Project Leadership:
Providing technical leadership and direction to project teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
+ Technical Oversight:
Ensuring the technical feasibility of solutions and overseeing the quality of technical deliverables.
+ Deployment Planning & Strategy:
+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive S/4HANA deployment plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure deployment aligned with business and technical cut-over and success criteria.
+ Team Leadership & Coordination:
+ Lead and manage a team of functional and technical consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
+ Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor progress against the deployment plan.
+ Identify and resolve project roadblocks and escalate issues as needed.
+ Work in close collaboration with MDS BU Lead and S/$/O9 Program to ensure alignment, execution and BU project tech deliverables.
+ Execution & Monitoring:
+ Oversee the execution of all deployment activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
+ Monitor progress against the deployment plan, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
+ Manage and track deployment-related risks and issues.
+ Work with data owners and technical teams to define data migration strategies and procedures.
+ Testing & Quality Assurance:
+ Supervise and work with business and S4/o9 program on testing plans to ensure the quality and stability of the S/4HANA solution.
+ Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any identified issues.
+ Training & Change Management:
+ Collaborate with the change management team to develop and deliver training programs for end-users.
+ Support the change management process to ensure smooth adoption of the new S/4HANA system.
+ Risk Management
Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
+ Go-Live & Hypercare:
+ Plan and execute the go-live execution, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
+ Provide hypercare support to address any issues that arise after go-live first at BU level and provide filtering to the program.
+ Stakeholder Management:
+ Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including business users, MDS and S4/O9 Program management, and external consultants.
+ Provide regular updates on deployment progress, risks, and issues.
+ **Vendor Management:**
Managing relationships with vendors and external partners as needed.
