The IT Delivery Consultant - Associate supports IT Delivery Consultants and the Strategy and Architecture consulting practice while also working independently with ownership of key deliverables. This role serves as a key support resource within the Strategy & Architecture value stream, bridging the gap between strategic planning and delivery execution. The IT Delivery Consultant - Associate provides analytical, coordination, facilitation, and communication support for high-priority initiatives, assisting in the development, implementation, and measurement of strategic initiatives to ensure alignment between business objectives and IT solutions. In addition, this role will operate in a highly independent capacity, managing ambiguous and complex projects, while also maximizing team efforts.Flexible Work Policy: The work for the IT Delivery Consultant Associate position is completely remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Champion the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic IT initiatives, providing expert guidance and support to IT Delivery Consultants and Strategy & Architecture stakeholders to drive organizational success.
Direct and oversee workstreams for assigned projects or initiatives, proactively managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement to ensure objectives are achieved and project outcomes are optimized.
Lead and facilitate key meetings, workshops, and cross-functional sessions, promoting collaborative problem-solving, driving consensus, and resolving complex issues to maintain alignment with strategic goals.
Leverage advanced data analysis to inform executive decision-making, proactively identify risks, and develop robust mitigation strategies that safeguard project and program success.
Develop and present high-impact proposals, presentations, and strategic collateral, effectively communicating recommendations and project updates to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
Drive cross-functional collaboration by orchestrating meetings, monitoring action items, and ensuring seamless alignment among IT, business, and functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and shared ownership.
Lead the identification and documentation of business requirements, champion process improvements, and provide innovative solution recommendations that enhance operational efficiency and strategic value.
Support organizational change management initiatives by designing compelling communication materials and leading stakeholder engagement activities that facilitate successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
Oversee the development and maintenance of demand and capacity plans, providing strategic insights to guide resource allocation and headcount projections, ensuring optimal support for IT and business objectives.
Drive the measurement, analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic initiatives and IT programs, delivering actionable insights to leadership for continuous improvement.
Lead vendor selection processes, manage RFPs, and evaluate proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and delivering best-in-class solutions.
Continuously monitor emerging technology trends, best practices, and industry standards, providing thought leadership and strategic recommendations to enhance IT strategy and delivery.
Support the overall enablement of program and IT portfolio strategy by partnering with IT Delivery Consultants, Value Stream Architects, and Product Owners.

Internal: IT Executive Leadership, CIDO (Chief Information & Digital Officer), OCIDO (Office of the CIDO), Chief of Staff, Director of IT Strategy, IT Delivery Consultants, USF Strategy Team, IT Leadership Team, Solution and Technical Architects, Product Delivery Leads and development teams, Key USF functions (e.g., Legal, HR, Compliance, etc.)
External: Third-party vendors as required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Remote: This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
6 years of experience in IT/ technology-related areas
3 years of experience supporting strategy development, project management, or transformation initiatives
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems, and communicate findings effectively
Experience working in cross-functional teams and partnering with stakeholders from various business areas
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Travel up to 20%
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business, Operations, Finance, relevant field or related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with program management, process improvement, and change management
Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, and/or programming languages (e.g., R, Python)
Previous experience supporting IT consulting or strategy functions
This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between
