During your internship you will be part of the Eastern Europe IT Data Team. You will have the opportunity to work in IT and multi-functional teams based all over the globe, engaging with internal and external partners. As a Data Asset Manager Intern, you will support our Data Asset/Domain, focusing on data quality and incident management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, availability, and accuracy of data across multiple sources. You will be able to deliver change requests and respond to business needs effectively.

Our Stack:

SQL, Power BI, Azure Databricks (Python/Pyspark), Azure DevOps (SCRUM, CI/CD).

Key Responsibilities:

Support Data Domain Ownership: Help maintain data assets to ensure they are relevant and accurate. Communicate with business stakeholders about changes and updates, ensuring clear alignment with their needs.

Change Management and Delivery: Collaborate with development teams to create and implement change requests, ensuring timely delivery that meets business requirements. Manage transitions in data processes to help teams adapt smoothly to new systems and practices.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Apply analytical skills to understand data sets and find insights while effectively solving data-related problems.

Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks to identify and fix errors, ensuring reliable and accurate data for decision-making.

Database Management Skills: Utilize SQL and NoSQL database systems to store, retrieve, and manage large datasets effectively.

Proactive Data Analysis: Use tools like Python or Power BI to analyze data, identifying trends and insights that enhance business decisions.

Respond to Business Requests: Act as a point of contact for business units, addressing data-related questions and ensuring their needs are met.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to improve data management practices and foster a data-driven culture.

Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data processes, resolutions, and change requests.

Project Management: Oversee data-related projects, ensuring timely completion and coordination across teams.

What You Will Learn:

Hands-on experience in data management and quality assurance.

Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and management tasks.

Technical proficiency in data management and analytics tools (Power BI) to facilitate data integration, visualization, and reporting.

Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.

Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to ensure compliance in data handling practices and mitigate legal risks.

Skills in analyzing data quality issues and implementing solutions.

Exposure to incident management processes and tools.

Experience collaborating with diverse teams in a professional setting.

What Success Looks Like

As you progress, you may develop into a Data Asset Manager at P&G with the potential to advance to the role of IT Operations Senior Manager or broaden your expertise by exploring other positions within the IT department.

Competitive base salary 100 000 RUB gross

Job Qualifications

The job requires you to be based in Moscow (or you should be ready to move to Moscow with the company's support)

Final-year students and recent graduates (up to 2 years after graduation)

A degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field would be an advantage

Good command of English (Upper-Intermediate or higher level)

Python and SQL programming skills

Familiarity with data management concepts and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)

Understanding of data governance frameworks to establish policies and shtandards for data management and utilization

Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey data strategies clearly to stakeholders

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, data-driven environment

Readiness for a full-time work schedule (40 hours per week)
