The opportunity

Following an internal promotion, we’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our IT Business Solutions team in Auckland. Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, you’ll bridge the gap between the business and IT. You’ll provide expertise in system architecture, infrastructure, and integrations to support incident resolution, enhancements, and process improvements.

Your new role

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, enhance business capabilities, and drive organisational growth through project implementation. Additionally, you’ll lead analysis activities, driving the delivery of change within an Agile framework to support business needs and solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

Act as a subject matter expert, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

Resolve production issues and empower users through knowledge sharing.

Promote continuous improvement to boost performance and efficiency.

Identify and mitigate risks across projects and change initiatives.

Support new system launches with documentation and training.

Mentor team members to uphold quality in delivery and testing.

Collaborate with Business Partners, Project Managers, and Solution Architects to implement business-led changes.

Contribute to the strategic technical roadmap for the domain.

About you

You’re a strong communicator with experience in project delivery, business analysis, and process improvement. You bring:

Experience in a tech services environment, ideally within a related industry.

Familiarity with Agile and collaborative team environments.

Intermediate knowledge in Software Development Lifecycle, Agile Methodology, and General Insurance.

Workshop facilitation experience.

Skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and change management.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (advantageous).
