IT Business Partner
Are you passionate about bridging the gap between business strategy and innovative IT solutions? In this highly visible role as **IT Business Partner** , you'll serve as the primary IT advisor to several of our key manufacturing sites across Ireland. Based in Cork, you’ll work closely with site leadership while collaborating with global IT teams to deliver value through technology. **What will you do:** You’ll lead strategic IT initiatives and act as a liaison between Irish manufacturing leadership and the global IT organization. Your goal: align IT strategy with business priorities to drive operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. + Act as the primary IT advisor for Irish manufacturing sites, sitting on extended leadership teams. + Develop strong, trust-based partnerships with site and divisional leadership. + Lead IT strategy development in alignment with global business goals. + Coordinate IT activities across multiple Irish plants to ensure consistent, strategic support. + Guide the business in identifying, prioritizing, and investing in IT initiatives that drive measurable value. + Manage and monitor project execution, ensuring alignment with business requirements and goals. + Champion innovation and ensure high-quality, cost-effective IT services are delivered to operations. + Collaborate across IT teams to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, CSV, PMO standards). + Contribute to IT budgeting and Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) for division-level projects. **What will you need:** **Required:** + Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or a related field. + 8+ years of professional experience, ideally within the manufacturing sector. + 4+ years of experience in a similar IT business partner or strategic IT leadership role. + Strong background in project management, IT service delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. + Demonstrated ability to navigate complex matrix organizations through influence and relationship-building. + Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into IT strategy. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with sound business acumen. + Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, with a proactive and hands-on mindset. **Preferred:** + Experience working within regulated environments.
