This role is critical to ensuring optimization of IT Spend, enabling strategic-making, and cost transparency across a global technology portfolio. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the ITFM organization, you will be a part of a team that establishes ITFM best practices in Wabtec IT. You will be responsible for IT financial planning, budgeting and cost optimization efforts within the IT organization. This role will not only own core finance responsibilities such as budgeting, forecasting, and accruals but will also play a strategic role in project financial governance, acquisition support, and Technology Business Management (TBM) initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of IT finance, TBM practices (including Apptio), and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. **What do we want to know about you?** + Bachelor’s degree in the field of IT, finance or related field + MBA or Master’s degree in IT, finance or related field is highly desirable. + At least 3 years’ experience in IT Finance with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. + Technology Business Management (TBM) certification and/or familiarity with the TBM concept and methodology. + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word + High proficiency in Excel required. + Experience with corporate systems e.g. SAP, Oracle, Service Now, Power BI and other corporate financial systems. + Experience with IT Financial Management tools such as Apptio is highly desirable. + Ability to successfully navigate through ambiguity and prioritize conflicting requirements. + Experience working in a global organization and working with business partners at all organizational levels. + Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) + Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and financial governance. + Demonstrated curiosity, continuous improvement mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. **What will your typical day look like?** + Manage the annual budgeting and monthly forecast cycles for $80M+ global IT spend + Responsible for IT month-end close activities including but not limited to; accruals, IT financial reporting, variance analysis, invoice and PO management and expense review. + Partner with and support IT leaders to ensure financial accountability and accuracy across technology spend. + Provide project financial support by ensuring that project-level financials align with budget and forecast expectations. + Ongoing collection and validation of Wabtec Adaptive Strategy IT inputs including depreciation, value realization and forecast. + Support new and existing financial models and processes, including but not limited to scenario planning, multi-year forecasting, cost optimization, benchmarking, and metrics + Establish process documentation and drive compliance of ITFM guidelines and practices to ensure effective, efficient, high-quality delivery that consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the business. + Contribute to special projects and evolving priorities as needed. **What about the physical demands of the job?** + Ability to operate a laptop or desktop and to sit for extended periods of time. + Concentrate for long periods of time. + Work independently and as part of a team. + Manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Meet deadlines under pressure. + Travel occasionally for work. The salary range for this role is between $77,400.00-$110,300.00 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
