Title / Designation: IT Auditor Location: Chennai Work mode: Work From Office (WFO)

 

Role & responsibilities:

 

Act as a Functional Analyst for Workday HCM, supporting Core HCM configurations across the employee lifecycle.  Act as the lead for IT audit engagements, covering ITGC, applications, and cybersecurity domains   Conduct IT risk assessments and develop risk-based audit plans across the organization Evaluate IT control frameworks and ensure alignment with standards such as COBIT and NIST  Identify control gaps, assess risks, and recommend process and control improvements Collaborate with business and technology teams to perform control walkthroughs and audits  Prepare audit reports with actionable insights and track remediation of findings to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements 

 

 

Candidate requirements:

 

12+ years of experience in IT audits with strong focus on IT governance, cybersecurity, and risk management  Strong expertise in IT audit methodologies, control testing, and risk assessment frameworks  Deep knowledge of industry standards such as COBIT, NIST, and other regulatory frameworks  Experience auditing both applications and infrastructure supporting financial reporting processes  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with ability to work with senior leadership. Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent preferred
