IT Associate Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of IT, the Associate Systems Analyst, will meaningfully contribute to solution delivery and the daily operations of Conagra's R&D Portfolio. You will collaborate with the Product Owner and Agile Teams to define requirements for Agile features and stories, being a bridge between technical teams and partners. Position responsibilities will include contributing to the configuration, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of both existing systems and new applications. Additionally, you will assist the Delivery Manager, Senior Systems Analyst, and Solution Architect in defining release activities.

Position Responsibilities

You will participate in strategy discussions and team meetings to understand and capture high-level needs.

Contribute to business process understanding, requirements gathering, feature/story writing, and prioritization.

Develop and prioritize requirements for new applications, constructing workflows and diagrams.

Provide basic design documents and translate them into component-level designs to accelerate development.

Participate in design, and testing of applications, providing maintenance support.

Participate in test-plan development, integration, and deployment.

Validate that business and technical requirements are met during the project delivery process.

Participate in Continuous Delivery as part of an Agile Team to provide valuable solutions that meet our goals.

Maintain, initiative-taking relationships with internal business customers and other IT teams.

Collaborate with IT Outsourcer on service management (problem management, issues escalation, and change management).

Help with vendor management of application software vendors on services, system lifecycle, and contract/license management.

Develop operating procedures and user manuals for transition into routine operations.

Help develop detailed technical specifications and designs for projects/system enhancements.

Collaborate with IT teams, partners, and leadership regarding the status of IT efforts and incidents.

Ensure strict adherence to all security and process procedures, especially around sensitive data.

Be a visible team member who supports transformational changes resulting from successful solution delivery.

Position qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Required (Computer Science or other degrees)

Understanding of systems architecture concepts and methodologies.

Working knowledge of relevant application platforms and their application

Understanding of infrastructure platforms and their application

Translate technical concepts to business resources and business concepts to technical resources

Interest in learning Continuous Delivery and Agile methodologies

Self-starter with the ability to work in matrixed and cross-functional teams

Initiative, and desire to be part of a high impact culture with the capability to deal with change

Ability to travel up to 10% annually

Hybrid work schedule with 3 days onsite every week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
