The role We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to join our team as: IT Asset Management Consultant Scope: Full-time | Remote | Ecuador The Consultant specializes in either Software Asset Management (SAM) Delivery or Procurement, while being open to developing skills in both areas to support a wide range of customer engagements. Core Responsibilities: Project Delivery & Onboarding Lead onboarding of mid-to-large IT Asset management customers. Ensure successful delivery of engagements with medium complexity. Coordinate and execute project plans, including transfer of engagements. Ensure adherence to SoftwareONE's service and project methodologies. Team Support & Leadership Act as a role model and coach for junior team members Lead customer workshops and contribute to service community (e.g., blogs, whitepapers). Customer Engagement Maintain effective internal/external communication with all stakeholders. Participate in business review meetings. Engage in consultative selling and identify upselling opportunities. Pre-Sales & Enablement Support Solution Specialists in designing SAM service solutions. Demonstrate and enable SAM tools for customers. Deliver training to internal and external users. Focus Areas: 1) SAM Delivery Design and implement IT Asset Management solutions.. Lead diagnostic workshops and maturity assessments Analyze and reconcile entitlement/inventory data. Perform compliance reporting and QA. Provide strategic recommendations (e.g., cost savings, cloud migration). 2) Procurement Execute software license purchases and renewals (Tier 2 publishers). Advise on licensing contracts and compliance. Coordinate order transactions and procurement tasks. Support license sourcing for low-value spend. What we need to see from you 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT consulting, SAM, procurement, or software licensing. Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong project management, consulting, and business process analysis skills. Familiarity with IT industry standards (ITIL, Six Sigma, COBIT). Solid understanding of Microsoft platforms (Windows Server, Azure, CSP). Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud/hybrid solutions, and licensing models. Advanced knowledge of software licensing, contracts, and product use rights. Strong English communication; additional languages are a plus. Behavioral skills Proven customer-facing communication, presentation, and relationship management capabilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report writing abilities. Demonstrated independence, accountability, and ability to multitask in a structured, results-oriented way.
