Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking an IT Asset Disposal Associate to join their team. As an IT Asset Disposal Associate, you will be part of the asset management department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** IT Asset Disposal Associate
**Location:** Clackamas, OR
**Pay Range:** $18.50-$21.50/hr (depending experience and shift)
**Shift:** Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Inspect, evaluate, sort, and disassemble asset electronic materials that are ready for End of Life.
+ Load and unload equipment from containers and conveyors.
+ Distinguish between assets for resale evaluation, commodities, and components per commodity.
+ Operate a fork truck and adhere to all standard operating and safety procedures.
+ Train other associates in asset disposition processes.
**What's Needed?**
+ Must meet minimum security requirements of Data Control/Asset Departments.
+ Ability to read, write, and speak English preferred.
+ Ability to use hand and power tools necessary for disassembly.
+ Forklift certification required (Level III).
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
