Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a detail-oriented and organized IT Asset Coordinator to manage the lifecycle of IT hardware assets. This role is essential in ensuring accurate inventory tracking, efficient deployment, and proper handling of IT equipment across the organization. Responsibilities: * IT Asset Coordinator will receive, inspect, and log incoming IT equipment, including laptops, monitors, and peripherals * Maintain up-to-date and accurate asset records using inventory management tools * Organize and oversee the IT stockroom, ensuring all items are properly labeled, stored, and secured * Prepare and stage hardware for deployment to employees and new hires * Manage the return, replacement, and retirement of IT assets * As an IT Asset Coordinator, you will support inventory audits and reconcile physical stock with system records * Collaborate with IT teams to fulfill hardware requests and coordinate deployments * Ensure compliant disposal or recycling of outdated or damaged equipment * Monitor hardware lifecycle and identify assets due for replacement * Adhere to company policies, procedures, and licensing requirements
