ITD is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill anIT Architect Iposition in ourHeadquarters located in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technological solutions by leveraging a mix of documented standards, emerging technologies, and agency-wide resources. Note: This position requires a background investigation before a final job offer is made. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES + Design and implement data architecture solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational systems across the organization. + Ensure data governance and security by implementing standards, policies, and best practices for data management and compliance. + Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to proactively identify and resolve performance or data integrity issues. + Evaluate and select database technologies and tools to support evolving business requirements and scalability. + Design scalable, efficient, and secure technology solutions using both current and emerging technologies. + Review, evaluate, and audit IT data solutions to ensure compliance with architectural and operational standards. + Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to ensure data consistency, quality, and accessibility. + Optimize data pipelines and integration processes to ensure high performance, reliability, and efficiency across data systems. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system admins, and stakeholders, to implement effective IT strategies. + Document data architecture standards and procedures to ensure clear communication and consistency across teams. + Assist in the selection and integration of tools and platforms that align with agency goals. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams and junior staff as needed. + Stay current with technology trends and propose innovative solutions to improve data performance and reliability. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Some knowledge of: + Current trends in information technology + Computer hardware and software capabilities and limitations. Experience: + Technical infrastructure, implementing, trouble shooting, integrating network servers, database, system administration, and core technologies.
