The IT Applications Manager will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals, managing enterprise applications, driving process optimization, and supporting key digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
IT Applications Manager responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of 11 IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation Define and execute the enterprise applications roadmap aligned with organizational strategy Oversee support, development, and integration of enterprise systems (ERP, Salesforce, HRIS, MES, and custom apps) Ensure SLA adherence for incident response and resolution across varying priority levels Drive standardization of SDLC processes, release management, and support workflows Champion AI adoption and automation pilots to improve efficiency and user experience Collaborate with business leaders to align IT initiatives with strategic goals and manage vendor relationships The successful candidate has: 7+ years of IT application delivery experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Proven success managing enterprise-scale applications and cross-functional technical teams Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), system integration, and performance metrics Strong project management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities Technical fluency (.NET/SQL) to review designs and code, with exposure to data warehousing and BI tools considered an asset Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range is $120,000 – $130,000, depending on experience Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities to attend major industry conferences Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
