IT Analyst III (Active Secret Clearance) - HYBRID
We are seeking experienced IT professionals to support the U.S. Army’s Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. Join our team and be part of a mission-focused, high-performance environment. Responsibilities Provide technical support to end users to ensure minimal disruption to computer operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, responding to support requests via phone and email, and assisting the ATC community; responding to and resolving customer IT inquiries; logging, updating, and tracking tickets in the ATC ticketing system; identifying and addressing recurring issues and trends. Research and implement solutions, providing feedback to improve support processes. Ensure rigorous application of cybersecurity policies, principles and practices in the delivery of customer support services. Collect information from callers, log, update, and track tickets in the ATC ticketing system, troubleshoot and restore of network and application services. Coordinate, and assist in the installation, configuration, utilization and operation of IT equipment. Assist in the review of functional user justifications and requirements for new or additional IT capabilities in either hardware or software solutions. Coordinate and schedule warranty repairs, monitor, verify repair actions, and reports completed warranty repairs. Support the creation, maintenance, and updating of IT documentation to help technical staff resolve issues more efficiently. Provide support for wireless devices, including setup, user training, troubleshooting, and software repairs for both Apple and Android platforms. Qualifications Active DoD Secret security clearance. Active DoD 8570.1 baseline IAT I or IAT II certification. Relevant education/experience requirements: 1 plus years with Masters 2 plus years with Bachelors 3 plus years with Associates 5 plus year with no degree Experience in: Configuring IT hardware to resolve problems and installing/configuring operating system images and specialty software on customer devices. Deploying IT hardware such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets, monitors, and printers. Generating reports using Trouble Ticket automated software. (e.g., BMC Track-IT) Performing backup and restore of software and data on client compute devices. Troubleshooting and resolving client network and wireless issues (WIFI, GFE, VPN) Testing, analysis and repair of computer system hardware and software malfunctions. Deploying interoperable and integrated standard office automation desktop software. Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, relocating, and repairing desktops, peripheral devices, and printers. Resolving desktop problems via Remote Control (Dameware or similar)- add/delete accounts and reset passwords as needed. Identifying network problems impacting users and work with appropriate Tier II or III administrators. Configuring, diagnosing, reimaging, reloading, using, troubleshooting and repairing all AGM MS Windows based laptops and desktops, instant messaging applications, and DoD approved WI-FI and wireless services. Using remote tools to connect to remote desktops. Applications include MCM. This hybrid position requires applicants to be within 1.5 – 2 hours commute from Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Desired Qualifications: Outstanding Customer Service and Communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and independently. Ability to adhere to government policies and requirements. Active DoD-issued Top-Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, though not required. Experience mitigating system vulnerabilities and patching (e.g. NESSUS). Experience supporting a Test & Evaluation environment.
