As an IT Analyst you will assist with:
Interface with customers and other IT departments for support activities Coordinate, test, and deploy overhaul/manufacturing applications and hardware Evaluate, acquire, test, deploy, and upgrade IT solutions Manage licenses Work directly on application/technical problem identification and resolution Correct system anomalies Assist users with functional questions Arrange user training Assure continued system reliability Ability to work with San Diego Network team to support switches, routers, cabling and wireless access points Ability to work with San Diego Server team to support onsite servers and network attached storage Work and coordinate with 3rd party suppliers for infrastructure implementations Ensure client devices meet or exceed current corporate compliance requirements including patches and updates. Some after-hours, on-call support required Review and document support processes and knowledge documents Tracking of asset inventory
The Manufacturing Support Services team provides IT support services for manufacturing, re-manufacturing, overhaul and refurbishment activities in across multiple facilities. These areas are comprised of approximately 400+ people, and 20+ applications that you will be supporting. This role is working 100% onsite at the DeSoto facility. Standard hours are M-F from 8am – 5pm with some flexibility. Position is temp to hire.
We are looking for someone with
Broad and solid technical understanding of Windows desktop operating systems including older technologies such as DOS and Windows 9x through Windows XP at the registry level Strong problem solving and analytical skills Some knowledge of the overhaul/manufacturing environment Experience supporting Windows servers and network attached storage Experience supporting network equipment such as switches, routers and wireless access points Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive “can do” attitude and high energy level Customer sensitivity with a strong sense of urgency Effective oral and written communication to function as a liaison between customers, supporting IT departments and 3rd party suppliers Good understanding of application lifecycle-management, change-management and production release mechanisms is desired 3-5 years of IT support A passion for customer support, no issue is resolved till the customer says it’s resolved When support escalation is required facilitate the transfer of the support to the correct team until resolution
Pay Rate: $30-35/hr
