Job Description SNS is looking for an ISP Technician with some skillset, that is teachable, will arrive on time prepared, follow instructions, show improvement, maintain a positive attitude, and the ability to work on a team or unsupervised at times. The position is working mainly on Mobile Arena, University South Alabama, and Springhill College. This candidate will need a clean enough record to pass a background check. There is an opportunity within the SNS crew and company to travel to work projects, mainly military sites, all over the US and some other countries. Anywhere from 3weeks-7months (with time back of course). However, traveling is NOT required for this position, just an option. Hours are typically 7-3:30. The hours can shift slightly depending on what is going on that day or the next. Overtime is available from time to time depending on the work production, job, and schedule, but not every week. Skills and Requirements Preform non-technical and technical tasks un-supervised Correct deficiencies without supervision Maintain accountability and serviceability of tools, equipment, and materials Test every newly installed or relocated cable in accordance with established procedures Display Basic troubleshooting knowledge Discuss pathways, spaces, bonding, grounding, and fire stopping. Looking for someone with at least 2+ years of experience OSHA 10 Certification Panduit Certification Fiber Splicing experience BISCI Certification
