**Job Description** **The Role** BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Aerospace/Mechanical engineer to join the Reentry System/Reentry Vehicle (RS/RV) Branch within the Flight Systems IPT, supporting the Air Force's acquisition of the LGM-35A Sentinel, the nation's next-generation ICBM. As a engineer within this team, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and oversight throughout the lifecycle of the acquisition process, from planning, development, testing, implementation, delivery, and sustainment. The RS/RV Branch collaborates closely with the customer and prime contractor to ensure meticulous alignment with project requirements throughout the design and development phases. The ideal candidate will forge strong partnerships with both our customers and our dedicated team of engineers and project managers. With this team, you will pioneer innovation, conduct risk assessments, assess technical suitability, thoroughly evaluate schedule impacts, and orchestrate activities towards achieving success of the RS/RV Systems. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
