Position Description:

Do you want to be part of an internal IT support team in a consulting company? Would you like to see tangible results of your work every day?
We provide IT support to all CGI employees in the Czech and Slovak Republics. As part of our team, you will handle various IT issues and prepare devices for onboarding new colleagues.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Provide first-level IT support to employees in person and via phone
• Answer staff questions related to all company-supported applications
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Advise users on appropriate solutions and next steps
• Act as a liaison between end users and the technology teams
• Work one-on-one with staff on application-related requests
• Document incidents and resolutions for future reference
• Assist colleagues with administrative IT tasks
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• We are looking for a junior colleague to join our IT Infrastructure team with an interest in IT technologies, their principles, and operation
• Ability to work independently as a 1st level support specialist
• Experience or interest in operational support, proactive monitoring, and problem troubleshooting for both internal users and IS/IT services
• Strong communication skills in English; fluent Czech or Slovak is a must
• Pragmatic, flexible team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to handle administrative tasks
