**Location:** Austin, TX (Hybrid)
**Compensation:** $90,000-$95,000 plus yearly 6% discretionary bonus

**Hours:** 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

**Job Purpose:**
The IRA Administrator is responsible for the accurate administration, reporting, and compliance of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). This role requires hands-on experience with IRS reporting forms, deep knowledge of IRA regulations, and the ability to stay current with ongoing regulatory and contribution limit changes. **Duties and responsibilities** :
+ Administer Traditional, Roth, SEP, and SIMPLE IRA accounts in accordance with IRS and regulatory requirements
+ Prepare, review, and file IRS Forms 5498 and 1099-R accurately and on time
+ Monitor and implement regulatory updates, including annual contribution limit increases and distribution rule changes
+ Ensure compliance with IRS, DOL, and applicable state regulations
+ Resolve account discrepancies and respond to internal and external inquiries
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews
+ Coordinate with custodians, advisors, and internal teams to ensure smooth account operations
+ Assist with regulatory examinations and internal audits as needed
+ Contribute to process improvements and compliance controls
**Required Qualifications**
+ Proven experience administering IRAs
+ Direct experience preparing and filing Forms 5498 and 1099-R
+ Strong working knowledge of IRA rules, tax reporting, and compliance requirements
+ Demonstrated ability to stay current with regulatory changes, including contribution limits and IRS guidance
+ High attention to detail and accuracy
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills
+ Proficiency with retirement account systems and Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of IRA or retirement plan administration experience
+ Experience working with custodians, trust companies, or financial services firms
+ Familiarity with ERISA and DOL guidelines
