Invoicing Financial Analyst for Benefits

Location: Remote within the United States

Job Purpose:

The Invoicing & Financial Analyst for Benefits ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of benefits-related invoices and financial transactions. This role is critical to maintaining the financial integrity of our benefits programs, supporting vendor relationships, and providing data-driven insights that inform budgeting, forecasting, and operational decisions. By managing billing processes for 10,000+ employees and collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, this role helps optimize the financial performance and administrative efficiency of our benefits offerings.


Your tasks:

Manage high-volume benefits invoicing across 25+ vendors, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Collaborate with Benefits Subject-Matter Experts, Accounts Payable, and vendor finance teams to resolve billing issues and streamline processes.Perform monthly premium reconciliations, audit carrier invoices, and research and resolve discrepancies independently.Develop and maintain accurate records of billing activities to support financial reporting and audit readiness.Create and maintain PEPM (Per Employee Per Month) analyses to support financial planning and decision-making.Analyze billing trends, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.Assist with benefits budget monitoring, forecasting, and financial reporting tasks.Review and analyze tax Form 5500 filings for accuracy and compliance.Support benefits operations, financial tracking, and special projects as needed.


Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of experience in financial analysis & reporting or invoicing required.2+ years of experience in benefits administration strongly preferred.2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) preferred.Experience working for a company with an employee’s base of at least 10,000+.Experience handling benefits vendor billing (e.g., insurance carriers, wellness vendors) is highly valued.Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with limited supervision.High level of professionalism, discretion, and collaboration across teams.


Your Location:

This position is US - Remote EligibleExempt salary range $62,475 - $82,600Your base salary will be determined based on your geographic location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions
