Overview Our client is a Palo Alto–based, early-stage venture capital firm investing in transformative founders and emerging businesses. The firm is experiencing a period of accelerated growth, expanding its internal infrastructure to support future fundraising and long-term scale. They are seeking an Investor Relations & Fundraising Associate to play a critical role in capital raising efforts and Limited Partner engagement. This position is well-suited for a commercially minded, relationship-driven professional who thrives in outbound outreach, long-cycle relationship management, and close partnership with senior leadership. The role offers direct exposure to firm leadership and sophisticated institutional investors. Key Responsibilities + Execute and support fundraising campaigns, including investor outreach, meeting coordination, and follow-up communications + Source, cultivate, and manage a pipeline of prospective LPs, including institutions, corporates, and family offices + Drive structured outbound efforts and maintain consistent engagement across investor relationships + Create and tailor fundraising materials, pitch decks, and investor correspondence + Assist with LP communications, including quarterly reporting, ad hoc data requests, capital calls, and distributions + Maintain CRM systems and monitor fundraising metrics and performance indicators + Support planning and execution of Annual Meetings and investor events + Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s investment strategy and articulate it clearly to external stakeholders Requirements + Strong business development and sales orientation, with persistence and follow-through + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a polished investor-facing presence + Highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable operating within defined processes + Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple external relationships with professionalism + Collaborative team player with high standards for integrity, accountability, and execution + Comfortable working with data, CRM platforms, and investor-facing documentation + Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in building a long-term career in venture capital Qualifications + 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, sales, finance, or other client-facing roles + Prior exposure to institutional investors, ideally within venture capital or alternative investments + Bachelor’s degree required If you meet the qualifications above, please send Jennifer Fukumae a message on LinkedIn for consideration.
