Investment Banking Program Analyst - Corporate Finance

The Corporate Finance Advisory Group (CF) partners with product and industry groups across investment banking to provide clients with:

Product-agnostic advice on capital structure strategy and shareholder value creationCreative structuring approaches to complex transactionsDifferentiated quantitative analyticsTechnical expertise in credit ratings, tax, accounting and sustainability-linked topics


In this role, you will:

Develop financial models, data analytics and presentation materials in support of pitch and deal activityWork with coverage and product partners to develop differentiated, leverageable content for use in transaction origination, as well as for broader client distributionSupport deal execution processesExercise independent judgment to guide deliverablesRegularly work directly with senior bankers in small project teamsReceive broad and deep analytical skillset and broad exposure across product, industry and clientsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal and external customers

Required Qualifications:

6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environmentStrong financial modeling skillsStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyBachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate financeProfessional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extracurricular activities  Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results


Job Expectations:

FINRA Series 63, 79, and the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Additional Compensation Details:

Base pay range for NY: $110,000 - $135,000May be considered for an annual discretionary bonus
