As an Investment Banking Analyst / Associate in the Nordics team, you will work on the origination and execution of M&A and broader corporate finance transactions, covering a variety of different industry sectors. You will play a critical role in implementing the execution function including working with analysts and associates, as well as assisting more senior bankers. You will develop exceptional function skills in the major areas of investment banking and will demonstrate the ability to become a senior officer who is capable of generating and executing your own transactions.

Job responsibilities
Perform complex financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based researchPrepare presentation books, management presentations, Board materials, Memorandums, and other presentation materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogueExecute transaction (M&A / equity capital markets / debt capital markets): support due diligence, document preparation, negotiation etc and liaising with relevant counterpart at the client/ other advisers (accounting, legal etc.) Interact with senior team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions, discuss strategic alternatives and market conditionEngage with and maintain regular dialogue with clients and potential clientsCollaborate with J.P. Morgan industry and product teams Provide mentorship and supervision of projectsRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills
Relevant work experience at international investment bank (investment banking, M&A, industry teams, Leverage Finance), consulting firm, private equity, Big 4, or similar Proven academic backgroundProficient financial analysis and modelling skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and tight deadlinesSolid communication and project management skills For Associate position, M&A experience is highly preferredIn-depth understanding of investment banking products Experience in dealing with clients and other transactional advisers Proficient in MS office applicationsPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
