Gather information about events through research, interviews, or experiencePitch stories that are relevant and impactful to the local communityWork closely with news and digital managers to ensure journalistic and legal standards are metActively engage across all digital and social media platforms to build brand recognition and enhance storytellingPerforms special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

Proven track record of developing and sustaining sourcesExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenDynamic on-air presence with conversational, engaging delivery and the ability to ad libSkilled in data analysis, public information requests, backgrounding, interviewing, and researchAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyValid driver’s license with a good driving recordFlexibility to work any shift
