Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Inventory Professional, you will efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Every day you will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems.
To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software, crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.
Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as neededDistributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient careIdentified excess inventory, returning stock and processing creditsNotifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventoryParticipates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials from the inventory management systemResponsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations, and labeling bins and handling requests to change pars
