Ferguson is currently seeking an Inventory Supervisor to join our team!
Schedule: Monday through Friday 6am - 3:30pmResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled physical counts of store inventory in assigned locationsResearch and resolve inventory discrepancies involving products and quantitiesIdentify and resolve basic configuration issues to ensure safe and efficient storage of itemsResolve all inventory concerns as reported on Problem Forms and Location Research FormsFollow all established standard operating procedures for Cycle CountOperate powered industrial equipment according to Safe Operating Guidelines, Forklift Safety Training, and FEI Safety PoliciesEnsure pedestrian safety by maintaining a safe rate of speed in all areas while operating equipmentMaintain clearance of equipment to avoid impacts and damage to product or propertyWork closely with Warehouse Management to resolve inventory concernsMaintain inventory integrity and product safety at all timesCross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as neededMust adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbsManages day-to-day inventory management activities, acting as a point of contact for other related functions.Manages and implements the inventory management annual business plans.Ensures compliance to safety regulations in picking up, packaging and/or storing materials, goods or products.Ensures that storage of inventory and records are correct and acts as escalation point for any issues or problems.Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirementsRegular and reliable attendanceOther duties as assignedResponsible for up-keeping branch metrics through Power BIResolving threshold counts, DC discrepancies and negative items in the buildingQualificationsHigh School diploma/GEDPrevious inventory control and receiving experience is preferredValid State Driver's License for operating PIT equipmentProficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as requiredAt Ferguson, we care for each other. Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
