Position: Inventory Specialist II
Location: Richardson, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift

Key responsibilities
Inventory management – develop and support cost-saving and stock optimizing activities, provide support on inventory-related tasks, and propose solutions for gap closureManage Inventory agenda and coordinate activities with the Global Inventory teamPrepare regular inventory reports and data for monthly meetingsCollaborate closely with the finance department for inventory forecastingCoordinate and oversee master data management in operating systemAnalyze inventory and propose changes to improve levelsDevelop and oversee material management strategyLead and collaborate on projects within and outside the Supply Chain areaDrive innovation in inventory managementManage $100M worth of inventory, focusing on optimization and cost-effectivenessBuild positive relationships with customers and suppliers, using feedback to improve serviceEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote continuous improvementRequirements:
Education, Experience
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance or related degree and 3+ years of relevant experienceHigh school diploma and 5+ years of relevant experienceExperience in various stages of supply chain processesExperience with business processes including planning, order fulfillment, capacity and supply planning, master data, and life-cycle management is a plusExperienced and skilled in data management and analysis, with advanced Excel experienceKnowledge, Skills, Abilities
Continuous improvement attitude with a conceptual approachAbility to think, act, and initiate in operational, tactical, and strategic termsStrong communicator capable of guiding at an informal/functional levelProficient in English (both written and spoken)Inspirational leader who demonstrates Thermo Fisher values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.Physical Requirements / Work Environment
