Evening (United States of America)Job Summary:\rFunctions under the direction of the Supply Supervisor and site manager. Responsible for daily supply assessment and replenishment of supplies for nursing and procedural units at Wellstar's hospital facilities that exceed 299 licensed beds. Responsible for the supply location replenishment and distribution of supplies for perpetual and non-perpetual inventory locations. Possess skills to engage clinicians and problem solve. Must be able to work in a group and independently. Where applicable, flexibility with work hours may require adjusting 1-2 hours based on facility demand. A 30-day notification is provided for any schedule change.\rCore Responsibilities and Essential Functions:\rInventory Management\r* Performs daily supply assessment and replenishment of supplies for nursing and procedural units.\r* Check stock status/back orders of stock.\r* Contact Consolidated Service Center (CSC) to request Code Red/Urgent shipment.\r* Check expiration dates and rotates stock during daily replenishment.\r* Retrieves, issues, and maintains minor equipment.\r* Where applicable, Perpetual Inventory processing.\r* Fulfill Supply/equipment requests\r* Inventory decrementing via Data entry:\r* Conduct storeroom issues and returns.\rCustomer Service\r* Effectively communicates with customer.\r* Friendly and courteous.\r* Meets or exceeds customers expectations.\r* Serves as a liaison between customer and supplier.\rSafety and Quality\r* Conducts expiration date checks on all stock items.\r* Properly documents expired items.\r* Quantify value of expired items.\r* Proper handling of sharps and expired product disposal per Joint Commission regulations.\r* Ensures supply areas adhere to Joint Commission regulations.\r* Ensures supply areas are maintained and clearly labeled for safety.\rShipping and Receiving\r* Retrieves outbound freight from customers.\r* Creates, schedules, and tracks transportation of goods between Wellstar sites via internal/external courier services.\r* Maintains transportation log of all outbound freight.\r* Receives, handles, and transports pharmaceuticals throughout the facility.\rPerforms other duties as assigned\rComplies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.\rRequired Minimum Education:\rHigh school diploma\rGED Diploma from an accredited program\r\rRequired Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):\rAll certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.\rAdditional License(s) and Certification(s):\rRequired Minimum Experience:\rMinimum 1 year experience in supply inventory and replenishment as well as, one year experience in the customer service field.
