**Job Description** **Jasper Products, LLC** **Job Description** TITLE: Inventory Control & Cycle Counter REPORTS TO: inventory Control Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt SHIFT: 8am-4:30pm This position is open to any qualified INDIVIDUAL regardless of sex, race, age, color, religion, national origin or disability. Position Purpose: This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of JP inventory systems and cycle counting/physical inventory as requested by customers and JP leadership. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: + Work with management to implement and maintain cycle counting program. + Daily Counts of materials and entering necessary adjustments in computer system. + Provide accurate monthly physical inventories to our customers. Execute all routine customer requests for counts on packaging, raw materials and finished goods. + Enter cycle counts needed for posting of production. + Taking the lead role in all physical inventories. + Maintain a cross reference of all Co-Pack Customer’s raw material numbers. + Coordinate disposition of obsolete, aged and/or defective finished goods (with approval from QA). + Coordinate disposition of obsolete, aged and/or defective raw materials (with approval from Supply Chain Manager). + Maintain certificates of destruction (from the trash hauler) specific to lot codes for items placed in the dumpster. + Work with receiving staff to ensure that all raw materials are labeled correctly on an ongoing basis. + Inspect the warehouse on a daily basis by auditing the accuracy and availability of material labels. + Other duties as assigned. **Requirements** EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED + Computer and mathematical skills + Inventory counting experience + Customer service skills + Analytical/problem solving skills + Competitive pay commensurate with experience An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans
